Drop the control onto your web page
After you've downloaded and installed the Send2Page control, just drag it from your
Visual Studio toolbox and onto your web form.
Choose your send2page Email Address
Sign up for your free account at
send2page.com to get an email address such as "myID@send2page.com" or "myID-news@send2page.com".
Set the "Send2PageEmail" property on the control
In Design View, select the Send2Page control then hit the "F4" function key to display
the Properties pane. As illustrated, enter your special send2page email address
into the Send2PageEmail property.
View your page in the browser
View your page in the browser to see what the send2page control will look like to
your visitors. If you have not yet sent an Email to your special send2page email
address, nothing will be displayed (as illustrated.)
Send an Email then refresh your browser
Now use your favorite Email program to compose an email then send it to your special
send2page email address. Allow 5 to 10-seconds then refresh your browser to see
your published content.
Done!
Now, anytime you want to update the contents of your web page, just send an Email.
Tips:
- To make minor adjustments to your content, modify then forward the original email
from your "sent items" folder
- Free Email programs such as gMail, HotMail, and Yahoo provide some of the best
formatting tools.
