What is send2page?
Send2Page is the free service that lets you update web pages just by sending email to a special email address. You can get your free account at
send2page.com.
How does it work?
When you send email to that special address, the emailed content is stored on the send2page servers. Whenever your web page is shown, the send2page control pulls in the content from the send2page servers.
How much does the service cost?
The send2page service is ad-sponsored and free.
Who can update my web content?
The send2page service provides its own control panel that lets you list one or more senders (email addresses) from which email will be accepted. For added security, you may specify a secret keyword that must be specified in the email subject.
How do I use the Send2Page control?
Just drag and drop the control from the Visual Studio Toolbox onto your web form then set the "Send2PageEmail" property.
Do I really need the Send2Page control to use the service?
No. The send2page service gives you a snippet of javascript that you can just paste into your pages. The control provides Asp.Net developers with a better design-time experience, however, since you can see where the emailed content will actually appear on your pages.
Can I use more than one Send2Page control on a single web page?
Yes. Just set each control with its own special send2page email address.
